Oktober Madness continues in Washington this evening and into the weekend with fall and Halloween themed events. Tonight will be the last farmers market of the season in Washington and Moonlight Madness will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Michelle Redlinger, director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce, explains tonight’s shopping event will feature “mad deals” with a variety of items featured.

Participating businesses around the square will be lit up and decorated for the event; they include Brown’s Shoe Fit, Fareway, The Village, Earthly Blessings, Dodici Shop, Wolf Floral, Jaz it Up, Purple Petunia, and RePurpose It.

Also going on this weekend is a Zombie Run in Sunset Park for Relay for Life Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. English River Outfitters will also be open to the public this weekend for ghost stories, hayrides and more. In addition, the haunted trail fundraiser for music students and Mills Seed Building is being held at Hayes Timber and the Kewash Trail.
