For the first time in about five weeks, it rained in Washington Tuesday. Approximately 35-hundredths of an inch was recorded in Washington as thunderstorms swept across the area. In the first three weeks of October, normally Washington has received nearly two inches of precipitation. The storm brought lightning, wind, thunder and rain. Power surges were observed in Ainsworth and Washington.
