Work is continuing at the Halcyon House in Washington and there have been some revisions to the plan. City Administrator Brent Hinson explained the changes at this week’s Washington City Council meeting one difference is having the main entrance moved from B Avenue to Iowa Avenue and the addition of a pond. There will also be a road on the complex connecting Sitler Drive to South Iowa Avenue.

The facility is in the process of a $10.5 million addition and remodel, which includes adding a memory care household.
