Roadwork is on schedule at Marr Park. The work began one week ago to pave a portion of roadway in the park. The work is being done on the road running from near shelter four to the conservation education center in the park.

Steve Anderson, Washington County Conservation Director, says roadwork is right on schedule and workers are expecting to begin poring concrete next week. The entire cost, a little over $85,000, will be paid with funds generated by park revenues. Anderson reminds everyone the entire park remains open during the construction period
