This has been a season to remember for the Winfield-Mount Union Wolves football team (8-0 overall; 5-0 Class A District 6). The Wolves are the final team in the KCII listening area without a loss this season, and can finish the regular season undefeated this week with a victory over the Pekin Panthers (7-1 overall; 5-0 Class A District 6).

W-MU scored a touchdown in every facet of the game in their 78-8 victory on Friday versus the Van Buren Warriors. Senior Kolt Rossiter completed five of his six passes, collecting 145 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the win.

Three Wolves running backs found the endzone Friday. Junior Bryce Robinson rushed for 165 yards and three scores, senior Darren Hunter collected 65 yards and scored two touchdowns, and junior Kleyton Benedict ran for 16 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
