It was a short lived postseason run for the Washington Demon Volleyball team (6-25 overall). The Demons opened up Class 4A Region 8 play Monday evening in Tiffin, battling the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (24-16 overall). The Clippers made quick work of the Demons, winning the match in straight sets (25-13, 25-8, 25-12).

Washington junior Jesse Buchholz led the way with two aces, a kill, and one block in the season finale. Senior Morgan Kimball recorded three kills and served an ace in her final high school volleyball match.

The win improves Clear Creek-Amana to 24-16 overall and advances them into the regional semifinals versus the Marion Indians (29-8 record). Washington ends their season with a record of 6-25.
