Three Columbus volleyball players were recognized by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference last week.

Columbus Senior Laura Mincks was named second team All-SEISC as a hitter. Mincks led the Wildcats last season with 243 digs, placing eighth in the conference.

The Wildcats’ Shania Boyd was an honorable mention All-Southeast Iowa Super Conference selection. Boyd finished the year as the leader for Columbus with 127 kills, 15th in conference play.

Sarah Todd was also an honorable mention All-Conference selection for the Wildcats. Columbus was 1-8 in conference play for 2015. The Wildcats posted an overall record of 6-24. Columbus ended the year in the first round of regional play, falling to the Highland Huskies in straight sets.
