A former Washington Demon soccer player has been recognized for her efforts this fall as a goalkeeper for a private New Hampshire college.  Daniel Webster freshman Stephanie Evans was voted the New England Collegiate Conference’s Goalkeeper of the Year, the first major award winner for the program, and is only the second all-conference goalkeeper in school history.

Evans started all 15 games in the net for the Eagles, making 279 saves during her first college season. She recorded eight 20-plus save performances during the Eagles 1-12-2 regular season run.

Evans made over 200 saves during her final high school soccer season this past spring for the Washington Demons. The squad finished with a 3-13 overall record.

Evans is also a member of Daniel Webster’s girls ice hockey team, which began their season at the end of October. A forward for the Eagles, Evans hasn’t recorded an assist or goal in the team’s first three games of the season.  Daniel Webster is 0-3 to start the girls’ ice hockey season.

Daniel Webster is a small private school located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
