Crayons, markers and colored pencils will be in high demand at the Washington Public Library this month as they kick off the Festival of the Trees coloring program. Debbie Stanton, director of the library, explains, all ages are invited to stop by the library and color a tree that will then be hung up in the Helen Wilson Gallery on the second floor of the library. The kickoff event will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. In addition, they have started a teen coloring club on Mondays at 4 p.m. and another is held for grades second through fifth at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays.
