Area boys basketball teams will see their first live action Monday night at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman at the Mid-Prairie boys basketball jamboree.

Four games, each one half in length will be played. KCII area teams competing include Iowa Mennonite School, Highland, Mid-Prairie and Keota. IMS opens the night with a game against Clear Creek Amana at 5:30. IMS is coming off of a 14-9 season last year. At 6:15 Fairfield will match up with West Branch. At 7PM Highland will battle Mount Pleasant. The Huskies were the runners up in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division last year finishing with a 15-3 mark in league play and an 18-5 overall record. The nightcap at 7:45 will be an all-area matchup when MId-Prairie takes on Keota. The Golden Hawks were 1-20 a year ago, while the Eagles finished with a 12-10 mark.
