Winter weather arrived over the weekend in southeast Iowa. On Sunday, the low temperature was five degrees, one degree below the record low, which was set in 1929. The first snow storm of the season to hit southeast Iowa brought six inches of snow to Washington over the weekend. The snow began in the early evening Friday and stopped Saturday morning. Temperatures are expected to rise to the 50’s by the end of the week, with up to an inch of rain in the forecast. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
