Members of the community are invited to remember and honor loved ones at a community memorial service next weekend. Hospice of Washington County is holding the annual event at the United Presbyterian Church in downtown Washington. Robyn Harvey-Kuntz, marketing director at Hospice of Washington County, explains they memorialize those who have passed away with a slideshow presentation and a candle lighting ceremony. She adds it is a good way for people to realize they aren’t the only ones going through a time of loss.
