The roadwork that has been underway in Marr Park is nearing an end.  Steve Anderson, Washington County Conservation Director says work that involved paving the road running from near shelter four to the conservation education center in the park began back on October 15th.  Anderson says barring a setback, they are hoping to have the road open this weekend, adding the work is right on schedule and on budget.

The entire cost, a little over $85,000, was paid with funds generated by park revenue. Anderson says the entire park has remained open during the construction period.
