Multiple members of the Lone Tree Lion football team received high praise for their classwork this fall. The coaches of Class A District 6 released the names of area athletes who made the All-Academic team. In order to make the All-Academic team, students must maintain a 3.25 grade point average during the first quarter of the school year.

Nineteen students associated with the Lion football team met the requirements for the All-Academic team. They include: Jovonte Squires, Avery Knock, Caleb Viers, Jacob Kramer, Brock Smith, Michael Schmidt, Drake Hotz, Bryce Houser, Austin Marshek, Wyatt Westfall, Corey Jacobs, Jarvis Krieger, Keontae Luckett, Wesley Hotz, Dalton Hanenburg, Payton Lorack, Devyn Alt, Sydney Alt, and Paige Doehrmann.

The Lone Tree Lion football team finished their recent campaign 6-4 overall, losing 35-14 to the Lisbon Lions in the first round of the Class A playoffs.
