Keota High School students’ hard work in the political world is being rewarded. Students in Schuyler Snakenberg’s sociology class have been writing to presidential candidates throughout the semester to learn about the political process. They have invited presidential hopefuls to visit their school to talk about their goals as president and their plans to help rural school districts. Tuesday former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Keota High School. The event is open to the public with no advance tickets. The public is advised to be prepared to go through a security screening as the Secret Service will be in attendance. Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. with the town hall beginning at noon.

Real Clear Politics shows Clinton with 55.9% support nationally, with Bernie Sanders in second place at 30.7%. KCII News will have photos of the event on the KCII facebook page.
