A total of $27,600 is going to technology at Highland High School. The school received two grants from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, of that $25,000 will go toward iPads and MacBooks to keep the school’s technology current. The remaining $2,600 was granted to the Highland Robotics Team for parts and equipment needed for competitions. Highland Business Manager Sue Rich tells KCII News, the school is working with Apple and hopes to have the iPads in the hands of students by the time students come back from break.
