The Kalona Historical Village is getting into the holiday spirit with a Christmas display. Some of the highlights include a 12 foot Christmas Tree with over 3,000 ornaments and 6,500 lights, a Christmas village with over 500 pieces, and a Fontanini Nativity scene with over 300 pieces. There is also a red and green quilt display with quilts that date back to the mid to late 1800’s. They will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. except Christmas and New Years Day. The society will also have extended hours December 23rd from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission is a free will donation or a donation of non-perishable food items for the Kalona Food Pantry. This display will be up until January.
