The Mid-Prairie boys and girls basketball teams host Northeast of Gooselake Friday night in a River Valley Conference doubleheader.

The Golden Hawk girls are 1-1 on the year. Last time out Mid-Prairie held off Tipton 44-38 in Wellman Tuesday night. The Golden Hawks were led in the game by Ali Butters with her 15 points.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter tonight’s contest at 0-1 on the season. Mid-Prairie dropped their conference opener Tuesday night against the Tipton Tigers 70-40 in Wellman. The Golden Hawks were led in the game by Noah Altenhofen’s 12 points. Northeast of Gooselake comes into tonight’s matchup ranked in the top ten in the state. The Rebels are 1-0 on the season after a 70-63 win over Monticello on the road Tuesday. Kyle Dell led Gooselake with 28 points in the win.

Tonight’s doubleheader will get started with the girls game at 6PM and the boys will follow at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
