Southeast Iowa observed more rain Monday with 0.74 inches of precipitation recorded. Flood warnings continue for the Iowa River at Columbus Junction, Wapello and Oakville and for the Cedar River near Conesville.

According to the National Weather Service, Washington has received 2.78 inches of precipitation so far this December, more than double the normal 1.29 inches. So far this month temperatures have been over 10 degrees above normal with the average temperature at 37.6 degrees, above the normal 26.1 degrees.
