Rain Observed, Light Snow Forecast

In the month of November, Washington received 4.57 inches of total precipitation. The normal amount for last month is 2.35 inches. On Monday, downtown Washington observed 37-hundredths of an inch of precipitation. The average temperature for November was about 4.5 degrees above normal at 42.7 degrees.

Monday’s rain did cause the English River at Kalona to rise, but it remained nearly three feet below flood stage. There is a chance of light snow showers this week, listen to KCII Radio for weather updates.
