Funeral mass for 84-year-old Ardis Hammes of Sigourney will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (1/9) at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (⅛) at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Keokuk County Hospice. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Ardis and her family.
