Tax season has begun, a time of year that makes many people nervous. Bob Preston, CPA at H&R Block Sigourney and Washington says, when you visit your accountant make sure you bring in your W-2 forms as well as any forms from loans which may be outstanding. He says filing is typically quick but file as early as you can.

Preston adds, refunds typically take about 21 days to be sent. The last day to file taxes this year will be April 18th. The IRS expects some 150 million individual returns with more than 80% filed electronically.
