The Iowa Mennonite School annual visit day for prospective students will be held on Monday. The goal, according to Director of Enrollment Candi Schmieder, is to give prospective students a chance to see what a day at IMS is like. Those visiting will attend an entire day of school including morning chapel and classes. Schmieder notes one aspect of IMS that separates the school from others it’s focus on Biblical teachings. Parents who attend will be invited to a presentation on the financial aid packages offered at the school. The school offers scholarships and as Schmieder says over half of students who attend receive some sort of financial aid. The private high school’s enrollment is currently 89 students.
