The Highland Huskies are currently sixth in the state as a team. The Huskies have compiled an overall record of 4-2 with their losses coming to Washington and New London. Highland is led on the year by a pair of ranked wrestlers. Junior Bryce West is ranked number one in the state at 120lbs. West has an overall record of 19-0. He has captured championships at the Willard Howell Invitational, Keith Vry Invitational, and Harrisonville Christmas Tournament. Brother and teammate Drew West is ranked second at 126lbs. Drew West has an overall record of 18-0 with championships at the Willard Howell Invitational, Keith Vry Invitational and Harrisonville Christmas Tournament.

The Columbus Wildcats have two wrestlers in the latest poll. Wildcat senior Josh Keller is ranked second in the state at 113lbs. He has compiled a perfect 10-0 record with championships from the Mediapolis and Regina Invitationals. Columbus junior Tucker Morrison is currently rated third in the state at 170lbs. Morrison is also undefeated with 14-0 record. He brought home championships from the Willard Howell Invitational, Mediapolis Invitational and Regina Invitational.
