The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team hosted their final home event of the year Tuesday in a quad meet with Central DeWitt, Camanche and Highland.

The Golden Hawks went 1-2 on the night. Mid-Prairie dropped the conference match up to the Camanche Indians by a 49-28 score. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches in the dual from Duncan McCain by fall at 113lbs, Jason Tew at 170lbs by fall, Cameron Tolander at 182lbs by major decision 10-2, Visouth Peterschmidt at 195lbs by fall, and Levi Duwa at 220lbs by fall.

In their second dual of the night the Golden Hawks topped the Highland Huskies 45-36. Winners of contested matches in the dual between area teams for Mid-Prairie included Duncan McCain by fall at 113lbs, Brent Foster by fall at 145lbs, Ethan Danner by a 6-0 decision at 160lbs, and Levi Duwa by fall at heavyweight. The Huskies got wins in contested matches in the dual from Drew West by fall at 132lbs, Cory Stewart by fall at 138lbs, and Ross Frank at 152lbs by fall.

Mid-Prairie finished the night against Central DeWitt. The Golden Hawks fell in the dual 60-21. Mid-Prairie won contested matches at 182lbs with a fall from Cameron Tolander, 195lbs with a fall from Visouth Peterschmidt, 220lbs with and a 5-1 decision from Levi Duwa.

The Highland Huskies were 0-2 on the night, dropping their dual with Mid-Prairie and also falling to the Central DeWitt Sabres 52-20. The Huskies got wins in contested matches from Bryce West at 120lbs by fall, Drew West at 126lbs by fall, Cory Stewart at 132lbs by 6-2 decision, and Ross Frank at 145lbs by fall.
