The Mid-Prairie girls basketball rebounded from a rough stretch Tuesday night, beating up on Wilton on the road 66-42.

The Golden Hawks took the Beavers out of the game right away, starting the contest on a 17-6 run that lasted the entire first period. Mid-Prairie still held that 11 point lead at the halftime break with the score 30-19. The Golden Hawks would extend that lead to 42-29 going to the fourth quarter and then put things out of reach with a 24 point final frame to secure the win. On the night Mid-Prairie was led by Ali Butters with 18 points, Addison Rath finished with 15 and Ireland Hostetler added 13. With the win Mid-Prairie improves to 9-6 on the season.
