In observance of today’s New Year’s Day holiday many offices and businesses are closed. The Washington Public Library is closed today but will reopen tomorrow. Also, banks are closed today and the United States Postal Services is not delivering mail. Also, county offices including the Washington County Courthouse, Washington County Public Health and Washington County Environmental Health are closed today. Also, the Washington Chamber of Commerce remains closed until Monday. Washington Community Schools will resume classes Monday.
