Celebration of life services for 85-year-old Ruth Slater of Washington will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (1/8) at the United Church of Crawfordsville. Calling hours will begin noon Thursday (1/7) at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held at Crawfordsville Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville and for the Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund
