A car caught fire on Highway 218 Wednesday, causing traffic in the area to be slowed for some time. As heard live on KCII Radio, at 3:47 p.m. the disabled vehicle in the northbound lanes of Highway 218 north of Crawfordsville was reported. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the initial call for service reported flames and dripping underneath the car with everyone out of the vehicle. Crawfordsville Fire Department and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
