Wins have been hard to come by this season for the WACO Warrior boys’ basketball team (2-7 overall). The Warriors won two of their nine games played in December with six of their seven losses coming against teams above .500.

Senior Duncan Pickard was one of two Warriors’ players to score over 100 points during the first month of the season, producing a team-best 111 points. Junior Jackson Roth, who didn’t play as a sophomore due to injury, is second on the team with 109 points.

Senior Bryce Achen is WACO’s top rebounder, grabbing 55 during December. Junior Gabe Black is the Warriors’ best facilitator, dishing out 16 assists.

The Warriors’ resume regular season action Tuesday, battling the Highland Huskies (6-1 overall) at Bob Hilmer Court in Wayland.
