Through the Community Foundation of Washington County, an endowment has been established to benefit Crooked Creek Christian Camp. Since 1980, the camp has provided ministry opportunities for children and adults with summer camp, church retreats, family reunions and more. The endowment, made by a donation from a local couple, will provide a secure and permanent source of funding and a way for other donors to contribute. Also, donations of $100 or more to the fund qualify for the Endow Iowa State Tax Credit.

Crooked Creek Christian Camp is located about three miles south of Washington. The Community Foundation of Washington County was formed in 2006 to help area non-profits establish endowments and is a subsidiary of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend.
