The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two burglaries reported in rural Louisa County near Wapello on Monday. One house showed signs of forced entry and the other had the door left unlocked. Both homes reported jewelry and Apple computer products stolen. Deputy James Clasen of the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office says to stay vigilant and look for vehicles that appear to go past a house several times. A silver or grey sports utility vehicle was seen in the area at the time of the burglaries. Officials are asking residents to call the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office at 319-523-4371 if you have any information for authorities.
