Students interested in art have a new outlet for their passions at Iowa Mennonite School. Bryn Hovde, an art teacher at the school came up with the club as a way for students to have a place to work on their interests in the art world. Hovde says, the group has been tremendously rewarding for everyone involved. The arts can provide a way for people to relax and enjoy the act of creating.

The group meets on Thursdays after school. Students are currently working in the genre of science fiction right now. For more from Hovde listen to today’s In Touch with Southeast Iowa.
