Snow is expected throughout the day with a chance of more on Friday. According to AccuWeather, Washington could receive up to an inch of snow today. Wind speeds recorded at the Washington Municipal Airport in the early morning Monday hours were in the mid-twenties, with the highest gust at 39 miles per hour at 2:55 a.m. Temperatures are expected to drop this week and remain below freezing. So far this month, according to the National Weather Service, the average temperature has been seven degrees above normal at 29.8 degrees. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
