Washington’s Parks Superintendent Tim Widmer is retiring. He has worked for the City of Washington for 15 years. Nick Pacha has been hired to replace Widmer. Pacha was formerly the City Administrator of Wellman. A retirement reception is being held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Washington Public Library for Widmer, with a brief ceremony at 5:15 p.m.

Pacha will also be introduced at the event so people can meet the new person in charge of the City’s parks.
