The Winfield-Mt. Union girls basketball team had three athletes recognized this week by the Southeast Iowa Superconference as all-conference award winners.

WMU’s Lexee Hartsock was a second team all-conference selection. Hartsock led the Wolves in scoring at seven points per game. The sophomore also pulled down 146 rebounds, ninth best in the Superconference North.

Sophomore Pearl Krieger-Coble was an honorable mention all SEISC selection. Krieger-Coble averaged five points per game this year, led the Wolves and was third in the conference with 205 rebounds. Her 41 steals also led the team this season.

Senior Caitlyn Jamison was also an honorable mention all-conference selection. Jamison averaged two points per game this season, her 23 assists were best on the club, she also pulled in 49 rebounds.

Winfield-Mt. Union was 4-19 overall this season, 4-12 in the Superconference, finishing in eighth place. The Wolves ended their season in the first round of regionals, falling at Holy Trinity Catholic 76-43.
