The Iowa Mennonite School and Mid-Prairie boys soccer teams will take the field tonight for scrimmage action in Wellman.

This is Mid-Prairie’s second scrimmage of the preseason, they fell at Solon last Thursday by a 2-0 score. This will be the first time that Iowa Mennonite is on the field this year. Mid-Prairie finished last year with an 8-7 overall record. IMS was 5-9 a season ago. IMS was eliminated from the playoffs in the first round by West Liberty 6-1, Mid-Prairie was knocked out in round one by Solon 3-0. These two teams have not met since 2013, a game that IMS won 3-1 in Kalona. Action begins tonight at 4p.m. at the Wellman Soccer Complex.
