The Iowa Mennonite School boys track team was on the oval for the first time this season Friday night when they traveled to Pella for the Central College Indoor meet.

The top finish of the night came from Levi Geyer in the 3200m run, his time of 11:37.09 was eighth best in the event. IMS junior Drake Brezina was 17th in the long jump with a leap of 17’10.50″. In the 60m dash Jim Wang finished 122nd in 8.32 seconds, his teammate Jacob Boller was 167th with a time of 8.77 seconds. Wang, Boller and Tanner Thrapp all took part in the 200m dash. Wang led the way with his 122nd place finish and time of 27.58 seconds. Boller was 165th in 29.74 seconds and Thrapp 177th in 31.85 seconds.

The IMS boys track team opens the outdoor season Thursday, March 31st when they travel to Danville.
