The Keota School Board voted to share a superintendent next school year with the Tri-County Community School District. Currently Keota shares a superintendent with Mid-Prairie but the board voted 3-2 in December to not renew the agreement. The contract is set to end June 30th. At the December meeting board members expressed a desire to find a superintendent with a district that doesn’t border Keota to ensure there isn’t a conflict of interest.

Tri-County’s district covers What Cheer, Keswick, Gibson and Thornburg. The Keota and Tri-County districts are separated by Sigourney and English Valleys districts.
