The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team finished the season with a 16-9 overall record.

Their 11-7 mark in conference play put them in fourth best in the River Valley Conference South. The Golden Hawks best stretch of basketball occurred from mid-January to mid-February, a run of seven straight wins saw Mid-Prairie take their 9-8 record, climb to No. 14 in the state and secure a state tournament bid, their first since 2013.

Offensively, Mid-Prairie was the fourth highest scoring offense, averaging 52 points per game. The Golden Hawks shot 40% from the floor. Mid-Prairie was second in the conference in rebounding, and eighth in all of 3A with 791 on the year. The Mid-Prairie defense, gave up 43 points per game on the year, fourth best in the River Valley South.

Individually, the Golden Hawks were led in scoring by Ali Butters at 12 points per game, sixth best in the RVC South. Alex Rath led the team and was second in the conference with 74 assists. Emily Cayton led the Golden Hawks and was fourth in the conference with 60 steals.

The Golden Hawks ended their season in the state quarterfinals at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, falling to No. 2 Center Point-Urbana 48-43.
