Spring is a good time to bird watch, according to Washington County Naturalist Pam Holz. She tells KCII News people can find a variety of birds this time of year nearby. She says killdeer, red wing black birds, geese, and ducks are all back, some of which are laying eggs. Also, she says the Kewash Trail is a good place to bird watch, especially for warblers.

In addition, Holz states now is a good time to hear bird songs, as well as frogs who have begun their mating calls. Find the full interview with Holz here.
