An annual trivia night that raises funds for Hospice of Washington County will be held this week and there are still a few spots for teams to sign up. The annual Trivia Extravaganza has teams of four to 10 people with a cost of $10 per person.

Robyn Harvey-Kuntz shares the mission of Hospice of Washington County is to provide end of life care for patients and families that are experiencing a terminal illness. They provide specialized care at home, in nursing facilities or in hospitals with a variety of services including music therapy. Hospice of Washington County serves clients in Washington, Henry, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Louisa and Muscatine counties.

She adds fundraisers like this are important for their budget as Medicare payments have decreased over the years for the non-profit organization. The event Friday also has a 50/50 raffle and snacks available for purchase. Doors at the West Chester school building open at 6:30 p.m. and games begin at 7 p.m. Space is limited, to register a team call 653-7321.
