Snow and rain are in the forecast for the KCII-listening area over the next couple of days. According to Accuweather, Washington is expected to receive 1.5 inches of snow by Thursday afternoon. By 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, Independence had two inches of snow recorded and Mason City and Fort Dodge had four inches.
