Cement has been poured, walls are up and electrical and plumbing is being installed in the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center. The facility attached to the Washington High School is set to open in the fall. Superintendent Jeff Dicks, high school principal Erik Buchholz, organizers Jan Gallagher and Bob Younguist, and others were able to get a sneak peak of the facility’s progress Friday afternoon. The auditorium committee is still working to raise funds for certain aspects of the project and donors can purchase a seat that will display their name.
