An Amber Alert was issued Thursday at 5:45 p.m. for a missing Washington teenager. An Amber Alert is issued when a child has been abducted and the life of the child is in danger. Seventeen-year-old Dominique Nicole Lloyd was reported missing to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday and was recently spotted in Georgia. She’s described as a white female, 5’6″, 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s believed to be with 24-year-old Michael Brad Knuth of Washington.
Knuth is described as a 6’1″ white male, 168 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is a registered sex offender in Iowa and was charged with third degree sexual abuse for an incident in Washington County in 2014 with a victim between the ages of 14-17. He’s wanted for violating a no contact order with Lloyd and failure to comply with the sex offender registry.
It’s believed they are in a black 2008 Mazda MZ3 4B with Iowa license plates that read DXL 519. Authorities believe they may be in the Georgia or Florida area.
Iowa officials are working with Georgia law enforcement to coordinate efforts in finding the pair. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call law enforcement. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at 319-653-2107.
