The routine quarterly report of the Washington County Recorder was presented at this weeks’ Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting and the report showed a busy time for the office. County Recorder Jo Greiner said it was the highest dollar amount for a third quarter since 2011 at $120,572.96. She added the high figure is due in part to boat renewals. During the third quarter, January, February, and March, the office recorded 1,221 documents, there were 378 birth, death and marriage certified copies, 15 marriage applications and 140 passport applications. Also, there were 869 boat, ATV and snowmobile renewals and registrations.
