The Mid-Prairie, Washington and Columbus girls golf teams squared off at the Kalona Golf Course Tuesday night in a triangular.

The defending state champion Demons took the meet with their team score of 184. Washington was led by Sarah Nacos, who finished as medalist runner-up for the first time in her high school career with a 40. In all of her other events, she had been individual medalist. Other Demon scores included Deanna Peiffer with a 44, Megan Strabala fired a 49, Brenna Burlingame finished with a 51.

Columbus finished second with their team score of 212. The Wildcats were led by Kortney Orr with a 50. Three other Wildcats finished at 54 including Sarah Todd, Emily Duncan and Aubrey Duncan.

Mid-Prairie finished third on the night with their team score of 218. Allyson Wertz led the Golden Hawks and was the meet medalist with her 39. Other scores for the Golden Hawks included Paige Slabaugh with a 55, Olivia Nisly at 59 and Lindsey Palmer with a 63.
