It’s time to safely dispose of the unwanted prescription drugs in our medicine cabinets. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Agency are requesting the public to turn in expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Chief deputy Jared Schneider tells KCII News, it’s a chance to safely get rid of the unwanted and old medications. Bring the pills for disposal to the United Presbyterian Church parking lot at 209 E Main St in Washington, on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked.
