The Mid-Prairie girls track team was in action Thursday night in Mount Pleasant for the Mount Pleasant Co-Ed meet.

The Golden Hawks won two event championships on the night, both from Golden Hawk sophomore Anna Hostetler who has a great start to the season. Hostetler took the title in the 3000 with a time of 10:33.30, beating the rest of the field by nearly a minute and setting the meet record by a full six seconds. Hostetler also won the championship in the 1500 with a time of 5:02.47, six seconds better than the rest of the field. Other top finishes for Mid-Prairie included two relay events. The 4×800 team of Abby Tornow, Greta Schmidt, Hannah VanRoekel and Maddi Zahradnek were fourth with a time of 10:52.93 and the Golden Hawk distance medley team of Shelby Zahradnek, Alex Rath, Greta Schmidt and Hannah VanRoekel were fourth with a time of 4:50.94. The Golden Hawk girls will next be on the track Tuesday when they travel to Williamsburg.
