The Iowa Mennonite girls track team placed fifth at the Lone Tree Invitational Monday night at Lone Tree.

Emma Beachy captured the lone IMS title on the night, winning the discus with a throw of 81’9″. IMS went two and three in the 3000 with Avery Blauvelt taking second in 14:16.69 and Alyssa Gonzales third. Suzanna Yoder was runner up in the 200 with a time of 28.60. Rubye Ney also took the runner up spot in the 400m hurdles with her time of 1:16.53.

The Iowa Mennonite track team will next be in action at Mid-Prairie on April 19th.
